Hello all,
I want to make it known first, I know each is own and we personalize our rides to our flavour. I just would like to know if anyone likes or dis likes my cheap mod. I had some of this chrome piping laying around and one night thought what the heck. So I added it to my black shield and my lower deflectors.
Is that the stuff that goes around the car door? I have been thinking about putting some around the fairing on mine the black stuff never stays put. Don't look bad to me.
It's not my bike, you shouldn't give a damn what I think. So, now that I've gottenthat out of the way - I thinks it's cool. It gives the bike that finished look. You may want to consider different colors to match the paint trim then testmarket it.
If you are looking for something else cheap and easy to do, I bought some of that chrome plastic tubing (with a slit down the middle length), and wrapped it around the wires from my passing lamps that I installed. In my opinion, it makes the install look really finished. It has been a few months, and it still looks like it did the first day I put it on. Just a thought.
BTW, I had thought about this before, and wondered why none of the fairing guys had tried it. Now I know I am not alone in the way that I think. LOL Looks good to me.
