Does anyone know if the 07 HD reach seat will fit the 08 model? The 07 appears to lower the rider 1 1/2" where the 08 only does 1/2". Being vertically challenged I need all the help I can get. I am getting the shorter touring rear shocks installed also. John
The ONLY seats that fit an 08 are from Harley. I have talked to various seat makers (Corbin, Danny Gray, C & C and others and they will not have seats for 08 Touring bikes till they have bikes to work with.
This is because of the 6 gallon tanks and a change in the console.
Kinda thought that that would be the case. Just doesn't make sense to change seats for the 1/2". I'm picking the bike up Wed and I'll have them put on the reach seat before I buy it to check it out. Thanks
Another option is to have BadX here on the forum (Allen) from Mean City Cycles modify the seat to your liking for about $40. He does a great job. Here is a 08 Anniversary Ultra seat that he just modified.
