Hey! Thanks for that info.. I have been talking to the Wisc HD headquarters with no satisfaction.. The stock computer has been "flashed" to the aircleaner kit and sampson pipes. I will be sending a letter tomorrow...

I would have another shop start with the easy stuff first, like spark and fuel delivery. Could be something simple like a plug, or a wire, or a fuel filer. The I would get into the electronics, CPU, sensors and so on.

Good Luck.

76shovelhead, I know how you feel,. been there and done that! I just went through with the same thing for the last 16 months and finally got mine fixed last Friday. NOW the good news.. #1 call H/D and report the bike as a rider safety problem. NOTHING will work faster 1-414 343 4056 and talk to Cathy. Tell her how you have almost wrecked or dropped your bike when it stalls or misses. It gets their attention really fast. I have complained and taken mine in for repairs 22 times to try to fix the problem. H/d set a message to my local dealer and said do the following Complete fuel system check, complete charging system check, complete starting system check, compression check, replace engine temperature sensor and an ECM check with a new download. I still think they gave me someones else,s bike, this thing will run down to 1500 and not jump or buck and will pull off without knocking. The dealer would not say what the problem was but we rode for over 400 miles. this past weekend without 1 single burp or anything. Hope this helps Dan

Getting it resolved through the MOCO is probably your best option. I think dgriffith made some good suggestions above.
Pa.'s Lemon Law doesn't apply to bikes according to their statute:
"New motor vehicle."
Any new and unused self-propelled, motorized conveyance driven upon public roads, streets or highways which is designed to transport not more than 15 persons, which was purchased and is registered in the Commonwealth and is used or bought for use primarily for personal, family or household purposes, including a vehicle used by a manufacturer or dealer as a demonstrator or dealer car prior to its sale. The term does not include motorcycles, motor homes or off-road vehicles.

I've read about a similar problem on here, and it turned out to be a sensor. I forget which one. A sensor in the throttle body if I remember right.

Idle Air Controllerin the throttle body might be stuck or the Throttle blade may not be adjusted correctly closing off the TB and choking out the engine.. A scan of the sensors while running will show what is happening...also I would think it would trip an error code which can be read by their scanners. Error code will translate the area of the problem.

If it runs alright other than what you described, I would definitely suspect the IAC first, then TB plate adjustment.

Thank you for all the information.. It is very very valuable and we will attempt all the suggestions. However if we need to wait 16 months I think this bike will be parked out front of Wisc HD officewith a GIAGANTIC sign attached to it. "HARLEY DAVIDSON HAS LOST CONTACT WITH THE MOST IMPORTANT RIDER- THE ONE'S WHO HAVE BOUGHT THERE MACHINES"
