07 RoadKing do we own a lemon?

Default 07 RoadKing do we own a lemon?
We purchased a 2007 RoadKing this June-since then we have had nothing but trouble with it. As Idownshiftto come to a stopthe bike stalls andwhenIfire itback upit won't idle. We have taking this bike to the dealership 3 times for this repair- they assure us it's fixed but I get back on and the same thing happens. I am NOT a newbie to bikes- I have a 76 shovel and have more than 25 years riding experience. Anyone out there have a suggestion? (Other than returning the bike and suing the dealership)....

Sorry to hear. My RK Custom has been a jewel, no noises or clatters. The front brake squeals a bit. The bike has been awesome so far. Sounds like you need to find another dealer. Start complaining to the MOCO.

Is there another dealership nearby that might have better svc dept?

Surely someone else can get it fixed.

We did and nothing really came of it.. I will be calling them again tomorrow.. It's a shame when the 76 runs better than the 07

Yeah we are going to take it to a local shop- not a dealership and see if they can figure out what is wrong...

It might be a wire on the injector or a bad injector, have seen this problem a couple of times. I have an 07 RK, runs perfect with 8,000 miles on it, trouble free.

I would keep going to a dealer with the problem, depending where you live, you may have a Lemon Law.

Send a letter to
Lori Oelhafen consumer affairs administrator
% Harley Davidson corp
3700 west Juneau ave
Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Send with a return receipt requested from post office.
Outline your complaints and send copies of the invoices.
When she responds with a B.S. letter, then contact an attorney in your
state that does lemon law lawsuits.
Because if a dealer has been unable to fix it that is about your only option.
One questionn is the bike 100 % stock?
If not it needs to be, except for the screaming eagle air cleaner if installed by the dealer.

Take it to another dealer, like others have said. Find a third one if you have too. Local shops are good but this soundslike a warranty issue to me.

Might be.... it's not electrical since they replaced the computer 2 times now.. Thanks for the input we will have it checked
