Default PC3 and Engine code for o2 sensor

I had a PC3 added to my RG because the SERT was nowhere to be found in April/May this spring. Now I am getting the Check Engine light coming on while riding and had to stop on my trip around Lake Michigan this past weekend at Appleton, Wisconsins H-D dealer to find out what the code was. Turns out to be the rear o2 sensor is bad or shorting code. As the o2 sensors are capped as per Dynojet, all they would do is clear the code for me. It did give me peace of mind to continue on the ride, but now the engine light is coming on often. What can or can not be done for this? I know the SERT is now in stock and I may even go with the ThunderMax unit, but what do I do for the rest of this season?

Thanks

just write an e-mail to dynojet. They'll probably send u out a new eliminator.

Jamie is from Fuel-Moto who sells a lot of PCIII's with customized maps. Alot of forum members by from him, but if u didn't just contact DynoJet. They are pretty responsive.

It is usually the 02 eliminator took a dump. It's a 1K ohm resister that plugs in to fool the ecm into thinking it is seeing the sensors.
Jamie is fuel moto... http://www.fuelmotousa.com/

These are the codes for the sensors as you probably know already.

P0134 Front 02 sensor open/not responding
P0151 Rear 02 sensor low (lean)
P0152 Rear 02 sensor high (rich)
P0154 Rear 02 sensor open/not responding

Sometimes the problem is that moisture gets in the sensor. Several have put dieletic(sp?)grease in it after cleaning them out and that has been successful in keeping the check lights from coming back.

Thanks for all this, it did rain a lot the night before this happened. I will check the rear one out and dry it with contact cleaner and fill both with dielectric grease. If that don't work I'll contact Dynojet
