Well I was told by one dealer that they have never had a issue like that, then another dealer said that was a common issue, just don't tighten it up to much or you'll break out the headlight [:@], jeez, now what.
Those HD bezels SUCK! Grab yourself the CCI one you'll be golden. IT mounts just like the original ring, none of that fits over the old one madness. Shessh, those things are so cheesy! Try the CCI one, I did and it's way better IMHO.

Please forgive my stupidity here but were you refering to custom chrome or someone else?
Joe you are right, it does fit over the original ring, which doesn't make alot of since to me , but what do I know, heck, I can't get it on now.[&:]
I'll say this, I'm not going to run it like that, it looks stupid to me with a gap like that, maybe I can find something else.
If you move the original a little to the right, and really tighten it upreal tight, the new one will fit tight, but you have to really tighten the crap out of it. All of a sudden it will just "pop" into place and it will fit with no gap.
Joe I've moved it everyway from sunday to try and get it to fit, I ran it up so close I thought it would bend but it still wouldn't seal up, I slid it back over the original one and locked it into place behind like it said to, man I'm at my wits end.
Thanks for trying but I don't know what else to do.
