Last year my bank quoted 12.75 on a '94(too old I guess)780 credit score.I instead bought a CD with some money I had in savings.6.25 against the CD and making 4.5 on the CD.By the time the loan is paid off I should make a little money or at least come close to even.

If I had to take out a loan,,,, it would be Home equity,
you can write off the intrest!!!!!!

The Moco gave me 7.25%. It beat out the local credit union.

I pay cash for all my toys. To pay 8% plus FULL MSRP........... That takes a lack of planning.

I got 6% for 6 years from my credit union in NY. I will pay it back earlier, so my effective rate will be less.

I wish I had the scratch to pay cash!
