I think your issue should be does the dealer professionally satisfy your problems. You most certainly have every right to expect that. All dealers are not created equally, don't stop until your recieve satisfaction. But before you disregard all H-D's, remember why you chose your bike in the first place; if your reasoning hasn't changed stick with it. If it has, sell that bike and move on. As sharp as the SG's look, I suspect there are may folks willing to take on your troubles. Good luck with your pursiut.
I have acura autos and have had for the past 9 cars, and never once did I take it in for any recall that wasn't done correctly the first time with a great attitude and courtesy along with a loaner car if needed, unlike the HD dealers in this area who seem to feel after the sale is done and your check clears that you take a number and wait. Mayber they should take a few lessons from the imports on how to do business. It seems the stock holders come first and the customer next.
Why isn't HD standing behing the various problems like with cam bearings for instance and a few other issues in the past in the form of a recall. They have the attitude that if it blows up, we'll fix it, but if it doesn't , then you're on your own. No measures were taken for an issue that they knew was a problem area. In my opinion, better service after the sale is more important than the sale itself, which leaves a big number of the dealers in the area of not doing the service they are performing properly. It seems that for every dealer that has a good rep for great service done properly, there are two that go in the opposite direction with poor service, shorting fluids, skipping services in some areas and generally overlooking things that should be checked or adjusted during a service .
I just feel that the HD dealers have a long way to go in the customer relations department. They have an attitude that we need them when in reality , they need us , the people that buy their product or where would they be.
model year to model year are direct indications of poor development and poor quality control..possibly cost cutting...for which there really is no excuse on a $20k bike.
I have an early September production SG. I have 700 miles and have the front brake squeak, and a lot of vibration especially at idle.

I believe your vibration is coming from your front motor mount. Go to your dealer and have him install the new version. Don't let him tell you the old mount still looks good cause that don't mean a thing. The new mount will make the bike feel much smoother especially in the floor boards.
