I think they say not to lower the front without lowering the rear .... Lowering the rear only is fine ...

My dealer said to lower the rear only unless you want bump and scrape and also change your jiffy stand. I plan to lower the rear in the next couple of months.

We are lowering a HD Form's member bike as soon as the rain quits in S. Florida. We have made him a set of shocks that, when compressed with the rider on it (total sag), will sit 11 inches eye to eye. It is on a 07 street Glide. will post results when done *@*^%&& RAIN!

Doing just the rear works just fine. Do it using Progressives for a good ride.

Your dealer is an IDIOT. I have 11 1/2" Progressive 440's on the back and lowered the front 2". 2008 SG with 21" front and 18" back wheels.
Never scraped or bumped and didn't touch the jiffy stand.

Lowered my 95 Ultra 2.25 Inches on the rear. Rides a bit stiffer but not bad; has a sporty feel. Still rides great and I can control it much better at a stop

I have lowered my 06 FLHT/I with the Harley low profile air shocks and I can tell a difference in handling. When turning at low speeds it seems the front end turns much quicker or falls over to the side the wheel is turned faster. I've considered going back to the stock rear shocks to eliminate this tendency but like being able to touch flat footed with the lowered rear shocks.
