Road Tech GPS Navigation
Anybody have any experience with the Road Tech GPS Navigation System H-D sells. I know it's Garmin unit. I just bought an 05 Ultra with the mounting bracket and wiring installed, but didn't get the unit with it. I plan on doing some touring so I am interested in using a GPS unit, but I'm not familiar with this partucular unit. It also appears Garmin will sell you the same basic unit (without all the H-D shops preprogramed in) for about $100 cheaper. Basis question, is this unit worth it or should I start over?

I've had one for about 4 months, and have logged about 6000 miles with it. Generally, I've been happy with it. I have had some difficulties with it also, but overall I'm happy with it. A search using gps as your search term will yield you hours of reading on the subject.

I HAVE HAD IT SINCE THEY CAME OUT. IN FACT HARLEY HAS REDUCED THE PRICE FROM $799.00 TO 599. I WOULD DEFINITELY SAY IT IS WORTH IT. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS AND USED IT EXTENSIVELY THIS PAST 6 MONTHS.
