In hot weather and stop and go traffic my ride stalls. I was told that HD had come out with a service bulletin about this. Has anyone heard anything about this? Would like to know before the service dept tries to bullshit me into thinking I'm crazier than I am. Thanks
There is an updated injector design for this complaint. Look at the part #`s on your injectors.
The TSB will have the new part #`s, but I don`t know the TSB # or have info on it.
If you get the #`s off your injectors the dealer can`t B/S you on the repairs....
Yeah it depends when your '06 was built. The early builds had the smaller injectors which will be changed by the dealer to the 25 pound injectors if you are having stalling problems.

That`s 25 degree injectors. They changed the injection angle, updated the hole count and refined the spray pattern....
Bought my 06 Street Glide in Aug 05 and never had a problem although I am not in alot of hot stop and go traffic.. But I have noticed on occasion my idle going lower on hotter days at stop lights after riding for awhile, but I thought that was normal engine operation. Let us know what you find out please. Might be worth having them change it out in any event.
Also does anyone think it is work looking at getting it changed anyway even if the problem does not exist due to current riding habits. Seems to me (GOD Forbids) if I sell the bike and the new owner lives in place of Hot stop and go traffic I would hate to see them have a problem.
