Back in the day when I was a little more anti-social than I am now, I used to carry ballbearings in my vest pockets. If someone got me riled up, I'd pull ahead of em and flip a couple of the BB's over my shoulder. Kept a lot of people away from me. I wouldn't recommend it now of course as I've gotten older and more tolerant.

I believe alcohol may have been involved.
What? How the F do you know that? Did he have a beer in between his legs? Was he swerving uncontrollably? You smell it as he went by?

Cmon brother, he was in a hurry or just being an ***. Every single one of us here has done it at some point in our life. He probably was just as surprised coming upon somebody "cruising" in the left lane!!! I don't care if its 50 or 70, somebody is always going to want to go faster.
agree...get over it and move on.

I agree --- if in the left lane (multiple lane highway) get on haul *** if someone wants to pass get over --- Sunday (yesterday) three bikersholding up traffic in ATLANTA --- land of no enforcement of speed limits---by driving 60 mph in the left lane --- my club of 14 trying to pass but they and old lady in the HOV lane riding side by side --- one of the guys starts cussing at us for passing on the right.

ORIGINAL: Bigredone

Over 75% of motorcycle crashes occur in the right lane. I always ride in the left lane or HOV lane when on the Interstate. But I don't poke around. Get on, go directly to left lane and haul a$$.

To all, Flaming anyone is not the purpose of what he was saying or why we use this forum. He was expressing a point when fellow riders act stupid on the road. Regardless of the lane you ride in, all cars, trucks and riders have the right to travel in whatever lane they choose. Unfortunately most drivers misunderstand the left lane is for passing and higher speed travel. The fact that these jokers passed in a manner that causes others to be startled could in fact create an accident. In Texas you cannot occupy a lane with two motorcycles side by side and includes passing. It is sad to say that we do have individuals that bring out reasons for cagers to get upset with us as we travel the roads!
