Have you ever just got off your bike, in traffic, and confronted a Cager?
Yesterday I was coming off the freeway, and at the end of the ramp there are two lanes. Inside right lane allows you to only go right, and the left lane allows you to go left, straight, and right. I was in the left lane making a right, and when the light went green a car came off the freeway, took the inside right lane and then floated right into my lane. I saw it coming and backed off. He floated in front of me missing the front of my king by maybe a couple of feet.
I grabbed a handful and whipped in front of him coming to a stop at a red light. I put the bike in neutral and put the stand down. Walked back to his car and FIRMLY told him, "Hey Bud! That was my lane, you almost took me out!" he quickly apologized and I got back on my ride. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. I have been criticized by many about my confrontational attitude. Then again maybe that guy will remember to look out for a fellow rider in the future!
Could be a good way to get yourself shot. Although I want to do the same thing all the time. After many years of riding, I've found that about all you can do is shake your head and get ready for the next one.
No, but I did in my truck once after this punk kid passed me and his mirror actually hit my mirror. But I had to chase him down to let him know what I thought and check for damage. Lucky for him there wasn't any.
A guy got shot for doing the same thing you did awhile ago,ya need to be carefull, your doing that makes you the agressor....I know it sux but ya have to be carefull now days.
I'd love to say that I have because there has been many times that I wanted to but I kinda think of it this way... have I ever made a mistake while driving? Now, with that said, I will give a head shake as I pass them. I don't blame you for what you did but for me, I just never know what they might be concealing in their door panel and it's hard to judge the size of someone when they're in their car.
