I'm running map M812-020, with some minor tweaks, on my '07 FLHRC. I have Rinehart TDs, AR BS a/c. Bike runs smooth.
I was looking at map M812-025 on Power Commander's website. This map is for the same set-up, but for a CVO 110" motor. There is also some slight retard of ignition in some ranges.
Question is: Why are the fuel settings a good percentage lower on map -025 vs. -020? Wouldn't the larger cu in motor be higher with same set-up? Is -020 just too rich?
Different cams and more cubic inches, nothing in that map can be compared to what is needed in a basic stock 96.
I get what your saying. I can see the cams having greater duration to expell more exhaust gases due to larger chamber, wouldn't fuel mix be somewhat relative to displacement though? Bigger motor would need more fuel?
The Power Commander maps are modifications to the settings within the bike's ECU. That different motor setup has an entirely different Delphi mapping from what yours has. The PC map differences have no bearing whatsoever on the differences between the injector duty cycles (and maybe even different injectors) coming from the stock ECUs.
