This is especially true if you live in, near, or plan to travel where there are mountains. I often do mountains in the 10,000 ft. range, and a factory GeezerGlide gets a little wheezy in the nosebleed section.

As far as the comment about the Stage 1 only being an aircleaner, that is not exactly correct. While the Stage 1 is only the aircleanter, it states right in the catalog that a recalibration is required for proper installation of the Stage 1. To me that would indicate that the download is a part of the Stage 1, you just have to pay extra for it.

mwike was only asking about upgrading to a Stage 1, not to some kind of hotrod. If you want a little more power and want to increase performance at higher elevations, then the Stage 1 with some good free flowing mufflers is a reasonable upgrade.
