The front motor mount is the exact same one used on the 1980 FLT. However, the current batch of the motor mounts have been manufactured in China.
More and more people are riding Harleys now. More and more people are using the internet....so I think the communication between riders have greatly increased over the past few years.

Not me I am loving it and did not have any with my 06 either and as someone posted earlier ,keep it long enough and put miles on it , well isnt that what happens to anything.I also did not have any trouble with my VTX1300 but it didnt shake , rattle and roll so it wasn't a Harley , go figure
