I paid MSRP, the $345 freight, $46.00 doc fee, and negotiated the setup to $0. A reasonable stup fee wouldn't bother me as they have to pay someone to set the bike up.

I am here in Texas and on Friday evening I just purchased a 08 UC Anniversary. Destination and setup fee totalled $690. State sales tax and $120 for documentation fees (title, license etc).

Walk away and find another dealer. This isn't 1998 when you couldn't finda harley available it is 2007 and there are plenty of bikes out there.

When I bought my Classic my dealer didn't even try to charge me for set up or freight.
