wtkpga, I'm wondering the same thing. Bub is sending me new end caps under warranty, and I'm going to send them back my end capsafter the new ones arrive. Only one of them is purple, the other looks ok. Figured I should have both of them replaced at the same time, because eventually the other one will turn purple too. Hopefully Bub agrees with that, otherwise they've got my credit card number and could possibly charge me for one end cap.We'll see what happens.....

The reason I asked is that mine came in yesterday and I wanted to chang them today. Bub's closed, I thought someone might have had this issue with them.I went ahead and changed them and whenI got the old one thatI thought was still black off into the sun and put it next to the new ones that Bub sent it was starting to turn purple. Went ahead and changed my stock winshield to the fastaire 8" for winter and Im waiting on theAirlite soft lowers to show up next week.Storage won't be an issue with me , Im riding all winter.
