Zanotti, e-mail Great price. Again. Bought the FIX from them earlier.
Order premHD oil cooler will install this winter.
Standard equipment on SE bikes. ? Do they run hotter? I dont think so. Just something Harley should have put on all 07 bikes.
Standard on alot of other brand bikes. Victory, Hondas, Yamahas, Etc.
What could it hurt? Beside my wallet?

Good decision. IMO, all TC's should be equipped with oil coolers. Their piston-spray feature transfers more heat to the oil, and it is best dissipated with a cooler. SE engines should run hotter because their displacement is >10% greater. Stroke is longer, therefore there is more piston travel per rev, which produces more heat. To my knowledge there are no measures on that engine to dissipate the extra heat other than the addition of the cooler.
That is what I read. Oil spray on cylinder at bottom. Helps cool piston and cylinder. The need to cool the oil is even greater on the lean burning engines.
I just put the HD Primium Oil cooler on my bike a couple of weeks ago..........bought it from M&M Cycles because they had it in stock and it was only a few dollars more then Zannotti's who didn't have it in stock.
Now, my oil temps are down about 20-30 degrees..........which is exactly what I wanted to gain.
I have the 2007 Police bike and it came with a huge oil cooler. The oil temps have never been over 229f and that was in stop n go I 10 traffic in down town New Orleans with ambient temps well above 95f. It is a bit on the ugly side but it works beautifully, would not change it for anything else.
Put the HD premium cooler on my 99 RKC about 6 months ago, wish I would have done it sooner. The bike is running 15-20 cooler even on 90-100 degree CA summer heat.
