Default Tire sizes for 18 - 21" bagger wheels?

What size and brand of tires are you guys running on the 18" x 3 1/2" rear, 21" x 3 1/4" front wheels on your baggers. I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of wheels, butI also need to tire shop.

What year is your bike? Are you sticking to an 18x3.5 rear for a reason?

Here is what I am running:

Rear - 18x4.25 w/ 150/70/18 Metzler ME880
Front - 21x3.50 w/ 120/70/21 Metzler ME880

It's an 08 SG. The 3 1/2" rear is what is available in the wheel I am looking at.I would run wider if I could. by the way, both of your bike look sick, killer, dope, fresh, rad, gnarly or what ever the kewl kids are saying these days. Also biggzed, how do you like the road rage, that is the same pipe i will be running on my bike.

I'm running the same 18" rear, 4.25" as these guys are, but for my front, I'm running a 19" It gives the low profile look similar to the 21"

I wonder why they only offer the rear in a 3 /2". The stock is a 3 1/2' right? And I can probably run a 140 on it?

You can definitely run a 140 on the 3.5" rim. That is what I had on my old RKC. If there is anyway you can step up to the 4.25" rim I would. You might be able to run a 150 on the 3.5, but you should check with someone like Hogpro before doing it. I'm personally a fan of getting the widest rim recommended for the tire you are going to run. I like the low profle look.

The Road Rage is a good pipe. Performance is right up there with the other top performing 2-1 pipes. I did have a problem with the black finish coming off. Bassani replaced it under warranty with no hasssle, but it took 10 weeks to get the new pipe. I received it last week and immediately sent it to HPC to have it coated in their 1600 degree satin black finish. I don't want to deal with another warranty return. I personally love the way the pipe sounds, but it is not for everyone. I would not describe it as a traditional Harley sound. More of a growl. Sounds great to me, but I like being different.

I have the power curve and megaphones on the Roadk KingI am trying to sell, and I love them. This bike i am trying to squeeze a little more perfomance out of it so I did the 2 - 1 but wanted to stick with the Bassani pipe for the sound.
