Anyone out there using Hogg Chopps.I amthinking of putting them on my Road Glide. Howare thequality, fit, paint and performance. What is bad about them. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks
If they are the lowers you can get the vented ones, color matched from Zanottis for the $500s. And these have the glove boxes. At least if you didn't like them you could sell them and not lose anything.

I've got a set on my RG, color matched in Black Pearl and they look great. Reduced (not eliminated) the wind coming up from below the fairing and greatly reduced (again, did not eliminate) the buffeting. I love the look and they were matched perfectly. A great product from someone with no financial interest in the product.
I was looking at these, as well. the price is great, no question. But, the bracket to attach them to the highway bar has me thinking whether or not they will hold up. I emailed them about any kind of a glove box, and got no response from them. I was thinking of adding lowers to my bike, but want the glove boxes so I can add speakers to them, a couple in the bags, with an amp, to get some tunes on my rk custom. Still, though, I think they look good.
I was thinking about the HD ones as well for the fact that you get a glove box. Two things I've noticed however is that the Hogg Chopps look like the leave more room for you legs then the HD ones and the second is that they look taller then the HD ones. I emailed then yesterday and asked about wait times for color matched and they said 7 - 10 days to ship, not to bad when HD could be 6 weeks.
