Just a few comments to answer some questions (i.e., no sales pitch intended). The lowers use commercial grade zinc plated p-clamps to attach to the engine guards. They are vinyl covered where they contactaround the guard. The lowers attach with 5/16-20 bolts and use a locking nut with nylon inserts to ensure they don't come loose. The hardware and overall design of the ABSlowersis heavy duty for this application.
The two point attachment works well because the geometry of the engine guard is not flat. When the lowers are tightened down, they are pinched against the engine guard slightly. This secures them very well without a third mounting point. We thought about adding another attachment on the outside of the lowers, but it really is not needed. Also, the design is intended to hide the hardware. We must have done a good job because I see a lot of questions on how the Hogg Chopps attach.
We are working on gloveboxes now and they should be ready by the end of the year. We have the first production parts and are testing the fit now.
