Default Time to Change my Handlebars

I turned over 35,000 miles last weekend on my '06 Ultra and have got it looking and running exactly like I want. I've spent most of my time and money on performance and looks and have been overlooking a comfort item for months and miles. After another weekend on the road, I've decided that the stock handlebars have to go.

I would like them to be a little higher and closer to me, with the same wrist angle.

Any suggestions?

I have a 2006 Ultra and installed the 2 inch pull-back bars (55914-98). They did change the wrist angle which brought my arms closer to my body. I am 5 foot 8. This worked for me but I would have preferred to keep the hand position the same as stock. Good luck.

I have the Khromewerks #300505 wide sweeper +2 bars and really like them.
Dawg posted an article with them on his last bike with great pictures.
I personally didn't like my wrist angle with the stock bars , seemed as I had to keep my elbows tucked
in to get my wrists comfortable.
The Khromewerks bars are 2" taller , 2" closer , 3" wider than stock , and for me , improved the wrist position
dramatically.
I'm 5'8" and can ride with my elbows hanging neutral and wrists relaxed now.
Pretty good deal for the $65.00 bucks I have in them.
Didn't change any cables , but re-routed the clutch cable till I get a chance to get one this winter.
Dawg mentioned that plus 2" throttle (both) and a plus 3" clutch cable would be about perfect for this install.
No need to go internal on the wiring either.
Very satisfied with these.

I just had the Wild-1 bars put on my Street Glide and I love them. They're higher, closer to me,and wider than stock.Very comfortable! My only problem was I could not use my faring mounted mirrors anymore but you won't have that problem.
