07 Touring Altenator Output
Does anyone know how many amps the 07 touring models put out at idle? Gettin ready to use heated gear and like to keep an eye on how many watts i'm burnin.

It has a LOT more amps than we will use with heated clothing AND a LOT of lights. I do not remember the exact figure, but me and my service manager added it all up and after all of my heated clothing, extra lights etc, I was only using less than half of the output for my 2007 FLHR.

50A × 14.5V = 725 Watts (0.97 HP), but some of that needs to be used "in house".

I don't know what the voltage output would be at idle, I merely used the midpoint of the specification given. I'd think it's at least 14 volts at idle.
