Default Road King without bags and guards?
Just curious about how a Road King would look without bags and guards. Anyone have any pictures?

Friend of mine had his RK dis-assembled for motor and paint work.

Stopped by the shop to take a look as it was being put back together and saw it without bags and rear guards.

Looked pretty screwed up.

Makes me think of a Fat Boy, but with ugly @$$ airshoocks and bracketry for the bags. IMO

a friend of mine did that to his 94 RK, but he had the side covers reworked and it looked KILLER. he alsoput chrome covers on the rear shocks. i'll see if he still has any pics of it.

It might look alright if your so inclined to do that sort of thingto it but part of the allure for mewhen Igot mine included the look with bags, guards and all otherwise I would have bought a FatBoy or Dyna.

Just make sure you don't drop it! I can maybe see taking the guards off, but IMHO baggers just don't look right without the saddlebags.

Yeah, I figured it might look funny being "naked," but wanted to see if it was really that bad.

Navitimer, are you into Breitling watches? I have an Olympus and a Superocean Chrono. Great pieces.

thanks, but I didn't see any pictures or RKs without bags, just with different bags. Also, how much space is in those bags? They look real narrow.
