See what happens after you get more riding cycles (cycles = shutdown, startup). I had similar problem and the TMAT worked itself out.
A couple of weeks ago, Iswitched mapsand took it out for a ride. after a 26 mile ride (shutdown and restarted at the 13 mile mark) it ran fine, much better than the map I had in it prior. The outside temperature was about 41 degrees F and the wind chill was 34.

I hadn't ridden it again until a couple of days ago. I left for work that morning and it was 50 degrees F outside. By the time I left from work it was 74 degrees. The motorcycle ran a little sluggish in the warmer weather but after taking a 32 mile route home stopping and restarting at 12 miles and again at25 miles, it tuned itself to run just as well as it did when it was colder.
I think the more you ride it in different conditions influences the way the TMAT tunes itself to your bike. And since my last remap, it has been running really strong with the setup I have (A/C, pipes, mufflers).
Just for info I switched my map from 393 to 384 - it made a significant difference.

thats also a possibility as well. Since my tmax was remapped and the iac was reset I havent had much riding time. It may well just need to learn all over again.

both my 01's and my 06 have sat outside all winter and never had a problem with them starting. All three were F/I.
Yeah, like any "cold" engine it will take a couple starts to warm up the combustion chambers to adequately sustain a flame front from the spark.
the first couple times will produce quite a bit of condensation which doesn't burn well.
After 30 seconds to a minute should be running ok. After two the ECM should be reading input from the sensors and be adjusting F/A and timing accordingly.
