I know that I have read this somewhere before but I am too damn lazy to go looking for it. I was out riding today and noticed that I am getting more vibration from my batwing fairing than myex wifespocket rocketwithnewbatteries. Anyone else have this problem the first one that is not the second. I think maybe because it's cold out and the fittings are a just a little loose because of the temp, but I don't know. Any suggestion appreciated.

Could be the inner fairing brackets or could be from a bad motor mount. When my motor mount needed replaced the fairing felt like it had a ton of vibration going through it, it was especially bad a lower speeds.
I have read a LOT of owners brackets have failed. I would go ahead and do some digging in the search for others comments regarding this. If it is still covered, I'd have the dealer take a look.... just my $.02
Stand on one side of your bike, grab the bar on the same side and push against the fairing on the same side. Do the same on the other side.
If either moves the bracket is broken or loose.
Take the outer off to check or take to the dealer if in warranty.
Have you recently changed the windshield? I put a taller aftermarket shield on mine
and got allot of vibration and rattle from it. I checked the brackets, no cracks or loose
bolts.
OK wish me luck...I am pulling the fairing apart tonight, with the help of the service manual and a 12 pack of lager this should be fun! If anyone has any other suggestions please send em up!
