Those are gonna be nice. Know what would be really cool is if you made some sort of slot that you could remove them when you don't want them on, slide into some sort of grooved bracket to get more air in the summer instead having to unbolt them. I take mine on and off all the time during the summer. I really only need them on the freeway.

I, like most folks, have a battery tender on my bike. I also just recently bought heated gloves. The kind where you can either run them off of batteries that you put in the gloves or off of the motorcycle battery. Instead of installing a 2nd pigtail on the battery I just cut the ends off of the battery tender charger, battery tender pigtail that goes to the battery, and the pigtail for the heated gloves that go to the battery. In their places I installed 2 pin weatherpack connectors. I already had the connectors and the proper crimping tool.

So now if I want to use the battery tender or the heated gloves (or any other heated gear I may get down the road) it's all interchangeable with the same plug.

thanks
I done same thing with my crossover pipe. Plugged it and turned my SE Street Cannons into a 2 into1. No issues and certainly does make a difference.

Default DIY Oil Cooler Fan Assist 62700204

DIY installation of Harley Oil Cooler Fan assist. Was pretty simple except for the 2 torx screws that were thread locked in. Other than that, pretty straight forward. Will need to have service department activate the fan. Typically its free but they may charge you $25.

The fan is effective in slowing down the heat rising. I have the Dynojet Vision and so far, without any fan, the engine temperature, reported by the ECU runs between 270 F to 300 F degrees when the ambient temp was around 68 F degrees. The measurements was monitored 30 minutes into the ride. In town with many stop lights the temp will stay around 300 F degrees.

To test the oil cooler fan operation once dealer have activate it, simply switch ignition to on, DO NOT start engine, and twist to full throttle and hold. The oil cooler fan will turn on. Switch ignition off to turn off after test.

DIY installation of Analog Speedometer/Tachometer on to Road King Special. Mine is a 2020 RKS. I swapped out my stock Speedometer gauge for the Harley-Davidson upgraded gauge. The new gauge has all the function plus a tachometer. In the video, I did a quick comparison between the stock and the Combo Speedometer. One thing I forgot to show was the traction control setting for rain. The new Combo Speedometer does show the word "RAIN" when I switched to rain mode.

Installation was quick and easy, possibly one of the easiest upgrade. However, make sure to get the correct part for your bike. They may look similar but the part number are different for different models. Basically, plug, bind and play

Default Ax7000

Got the sony ax7000 but no one makes a rain cover for it using the 95-HDIF inner fairing so I solved it ,had to trim and grind the corners down a little and a a rubber trim can't remember what it came off of .
It's nice and snug I'll test it with it on while riding and a water test.

Looking for some help with the wiring for the garage door remote to momentary switch setup. I understand the garage door remote end but the momentary switch is also led lit and has 4 terminals, I am not sure how this should be appropriately wired for both of these options (remote running on batteries or power)

Bike power to —-> switch ( LEDs) —-> Garage door remote (powered by battery) ( I am assuming one back terminal is power in, one is neutral, but not sure how the remote hooks to the other two terminals?

Bike power —> Garage Door Remote / Bike Power to Switch (LEDs) —-> Garage Door Remote

Thanks for any help and yes I know this mod is over discussed, but this stumped me.

This is a similar switch to what I plan to install

Plenty of way to run a breather but havent seen one like mine yet. Ran it through the trans cover and out the bottom to put the can out of sight
