How do "DansFLT" and "Dogs of War" get thier bag bras on so nice and tight. Mine fit very poorly. I have them warming in front of the fireplace to see if they will form better to the bag lid. I can't seem to get them on without being able to see the white tabs around the front or rear edge.
DansFLT ?. Dogs of War ?.. Thought it was some kinda code you were refering to at first but, now I can see it's someones forum name..
Without a pic or link, it would be kinda hard for some of us to try and help answer you quest... Unless you are seeking only answers who knows how to break the code!
Not trying to be cryptic. I only mentioned their forum names because I can see from their sigs and pics that the bras fit really nice. I sat one hard bag and one bra in front of the fire and finally wrestled it on okay. Maybe it will relax and fit the bag better later on.
They'll stretch a little -
You lay then in the sun and put them on - they park the bike in the sun... wait and stretch\re adjust the bra's again... repeat till proper fit...
Gradually getting there with working them one at a time in front of the fireplace. However, my fingers are raw from the velcro! Small price to pay ifthey end up looking nice and keeping me from kicking the paint off the bag lid.
The big trick is to putthe velcro tabs deep enough in the lid so that the cover has to be pulled reach all the lid tabs. But also not so deep that the cover will never reach the tabs. Let the velcro tabs dry for about a day before you try to install the covers. the clue has to cure as well as dry.
