I usually run 70-75. I feel the most comfortable at that speed and it doesn't wear me out after a full day.

Speed limit +5 to 7 unless the flow of traffic is faster and then I go with the flow so I don't get run over.

I try to go at the same speed as the rest of the traffic. If I'm out where traffic isn't a concern, @80 is good. If my wife is following me, we ride about 50. We become a mobile chicane as everyone has to manuever around us.

Don't really care about MPG too much............70-85 with or without the wife, doesn't matter . Really depends on my mood & the # of LEOs around

85 MPH is the most comfortable speed for my Road King.
Plus at that speed it's a Blast to wack on the throttle & feel the TQ of the engine and watch the speedo pass the110 mph mark in seconds.

speed limit here is 65 or 70. i like to do +5. haven't had a speeding ticket in 14 years, and don't want one either. now if speed limit was not a limiting factor, my bike likes to cruise around 78-80. really smooth at that speed.
