An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who intentionally posts controversial or contrary messages in an on-line community such as an on-line discussion forum or group with the singular intention of baiting users into an argumentative response.[1] It often has a broader meaning referring to any shady trouble making Internet activity. If you thing you ambient air temperature gauge on your flht/c/cu/x is usually wrong your not alone. The good news is there is something you can do!! Your first step to resolving this issue is to take a ride to your local bank(yes, bank) and document the temp reading being displayed on the bank's sign. at this time document the reading of the temp gauge and note the descrepency. If it is greater than 7.5 degrees than repeat this step. repeat up to five times at five differant banks or until reading is less than 7.5 degrees different. After doing this process and you still belive you gauge is inaccurate you may contact HD customer services with your findings as well as your make/model/year/vin#/sexual orientation/mileage/religion and they may authorize replacement of gauge with a like new replacement. they will autho this in or out of warranty. If this seems like to much trouble just fork out the money for an oil temp gauge. at least it serves a purpose.
Its not that I think mine is broken I just don't care. My face, hands and legs can feel what temp it is outside.
you its wrong, but we look at it anyway, WHY ?????????????? it doesnt matter where the sensor is located, it still reads wrong, go withe the oil temp gauge, better use anyway !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hummmmm...... I wondered why the heck the MOCO ever put that dang thing on...... /figured some young snapper who has little to NO saddle time was trying to impress his boss at the MOCO and came up with that crappy thing. If they insisted on such a thing, the least they could of done was design one that actually works! Oil temp gauge is going in mine........
