Manish, lets just say he does not notice the compression releases, unless he is a complete idiot, he will notice the barking and snarling of that build when you fire it up. I'm sure that same sound instantly brought a smile to your face the first time you fired it up, before you even rode it. Amazing what an affect a strong Build has on your exhaust sound. Start it easy, don't snap the throttle, and stay behind him until you are ready to roll. Jim.

Another couple thoughts....

Make a few more DTT tuning rund before "your ride" so as to get the tune dialed in just a bit better.
Depress your compression releases before it's time to start the bike so he does not see you do it.
Let him start his bike FIRST, that way he will not hear the pst pst pst pf the compression releases.

Supposed to be chilly Sunday, should be good for the bike, my old Evo loves it when its below 50 degs and I think I get a couple more horses under 40 deg. Good Luck, fill the tank and stay off the bridge!

Does anyone get the impression, that at sometime in the past, that PhilM may have snookerd more than a few people in to a race then collected their bet and rode off whistling? (Winning is often in the details.)

Note to self, do not play pool with or try to race PhilM.

Forget the builds. Just learn how to really ride the thing and take him on a twisty road. keke
