I talked to Rod at 1 today said they were getting together..... If he lost he better order "Ride like a Pro".....
Oh man don't tell me I'll have to go out there and show how its done.....
So after Church I call my buddy on his cell. He didn't answer. Then I call his home phone. It's 2:00 p.m. and he's knocked out. I asked if he was still riding today and he says yes. My plans have changed a little because my wife wants to ride. I don't mind. I needed a witness and beating him2 up,would have been hysterical. We load up the car and drive about 10 miles South to drop our son off at Grandma's. I'm following on the bike. We drop him off and grab a bite to eat. I'm scarfing it down in a hurry. We ride about 20 miles North (this is my first 2up ride since the build) and the bike is still hauling ****. We get to his house and he opens up the door in his pajamas. WTF. He starts talking about this party he went to last night and how much he had to drink yada yada yada. He put some rims on his bike since I had seen it last, so we go into his garage and he's like "man it's cold as hell" You can have it, I'm staying in today. Now earlier in the week he was talking about he just got a new leather jacket and hadn't gotten to use it yet. I was mad, I was so mad I could have kicked him in his..... Well I had a beer with him and watched the Dolphins get their 1st win and the wife and I headed out. We went on about 100 mile ride and I will tell you, this build is awesome. I was twisting the throttle and blowing past cars and other bikes like I was on a race track. I just couldn't get over how at 60mph I would twist and 90mph would come so quickly. Words can't describe how the bike performs. We went to this bike hangout where everyone hangs out side and my pipes hushed the crowd too. Well enough of my rambling I'm going to watch the Sunday night game.
It's delayed, but no telling how long.Me and this guy don't get to ride together much. His dealership is open 6 days a week so he is only off on Sundays. I go to church on Sundays and don't get out until 1:00 by the time I can eat and drop off the little one it's a good 3:00.
