Just noticed on a nother post about 2 into 1 exhausts and of course D&D Fatcats were very popular. But noticed that are are recommended for engines up to 103 ci. I bought a set from Bart already, should I have gone with something larger, like the boarzilla? I have the quiet baffles in it. Mine is a Headquarters 113" w/ 575 cams heads and CP pistons. I originally had Rinehart TD,s and really can,t tell to much difference. Any suggestions would a different baffle make a difference? Thanks Tim
If you have not installed them maybe you can exchange them for the boarzilla's. If not I'm sure somebody will buy them from you. What year or bike do you have?
Tim ~ You might wanna give D&D tech support a shout. See if you can talk to Aaron Whitney. It is possible that the FatCat BigBore baffle could help, but it may be that the Boarzilla is actually what you need. He can tell you.
There are always folks here looking for a FatCat. Perhaps you could sell you brand new FC to someone and then get yourself a Boarzilla, if that is determined to be what is needed.
Thanks, mine is an '04 ultra. Phil, I'll give them a shout and see if they can steer me in the right direction. And yes, I have already installed them. They're not wimpy at all, but would like to know if there is more to get from them.
Hi Steve, I was looking at the web site and they said up to 103 ci .Do you have info from them that documents that. And as Phil mentioned I will check into the performance baffle. I know you have been through a few exhaust your self and respect any comments. Tim
The 113 is probably right on the edge of being able to benefit from the Boarzilla, or any two into one with bigger primary tubes, larger than 1-1/4". I agree with Phil, call D&D and get their recommendation.
Thanks to all, I'll give them a call at D&D and see what they reccommend. I really don't want to have to buy another set. Like I said these are no slugs in any way, just want to get the best performance I can.
