IDS again and a good deal
Just did the IDS today on my 07 EGC while doing the 1k at Battlefield HD in Gettysburg. They have the same price as Zanotti's online at $198. With the elbow grease promo from HD the install was taken care of. Anyone in the area they still have some in stock.
Rode it 50 miles on the way home from backroads to highways and noticed the difference. Thanks to all who have posted on this forum and conviced me to have it done. Just enough smoother to notice even though it was a lot smoother than my old RK. Also is a little quieter in 5th and 6th and does not feel like it is lugging as much at low RPM if you roll on the throttle...I try not to be a lugger, but after reading about the IDS I wanted to see how it felt at various RPM so I tried to accelerate from around 1500 RPM and it did not baulk at me as much as it would have before and was smoother on the Highway at 85.
Hope this helps anyone on the fence on making up their mind.
