I have decided to definitely go with the ABS on my new SG, but am curious to see what others feel about them.
Would you get the ABS option on your new 08?
ABS wasn't available when I bought my '05. If it had been I would have gotten it. I've had a few panic stops and slid the rear tire, which was a bit scary.
I have ABS on my SG and love it. Saved my bacon last week in a quick stop at a light in the rain. I will say that it is a bit freaky when the ABS activates during a stop - it feels like the brakes are letting loose rather than gripping the rotor. you get used to it. One thing you will not like - the Brembo brakes squeak.
