I have a 2007 Harley Electra glide Standard. The seat is horrible & I was looking at a Mustang Seat. any input on a mustang seat I was looking at plain sport Touring seat but would appreciate comments on other Mustang models or other brands as well. Thanks Pat
Try Mr BadX, a fellow HDForums member and sponsor that redoes your stock seat to be much more comfy. I am sending him my SunDowner after the New Year to be redone
Most people seem to love them. I don't love mine, unfortunately. It's just not that comfortable for me, or my wife (she loves the stock EG pillow seat).
My next seat is going to be a Russell Day Long. Not the best looking seat, but they're supposed to be amazing. T
Hey Pat I am on my 3 rd seat and it is a Mustang and it is the only one I have had that I can set on for very long. I have the Plain Smooth Touring Seat and I love it and more importantly my wife loves it. We did a 4800 mile trip out west on it this past summer and I also did a 1500 mile Iron Butt ride in Sept. and not 1 bad mile. We are thinking about selling the Road King and getting an Ultra and that is one upgrade the wife won't complain about. I believe I bought mine from AMERICAN CLASSIC MOTORSfor about $325. Hope it helps.
I really enjoy my Mustang seat. I got their backrest before I took delivery on the seat itself. I could only go about 75 miles or so before my back was killingme. I've gone 300 miles or more with no problems or discomfort at all. My passengers ALL like theseat too, if that's a consideration.
