Default FUEL MOTTOS NEW CUSTOM SLIPON PACKAGE??

I' m trying to decide on what system to go with on my 07'Street Glide.I am currently all stock except for Screamin Eagle Touring slip ons.I am not happy with the sound or performance with my current set up.My question is for any one who purchased Jamie's at Fuel Motto custom Rush,PCIII and K&N package.I know after looking at the dyno spec sheets the performance is going to be great,I am wondering how they will sound compared to my screamin Eagle slip ons now?I want a system that is louder and deeper sounding than what I have now. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!!!

The Rush muffs have always sounded good....The package from Fuelmoto will not disappoint you!

I've had the kit a few weeks now and I am VERY happy performance and cost wise. It retained the stock look, outperforms tru duals, and saves lots of money with it......The Rush muffs also provide for interchangable baffles in case someday you want to go beyond stage one, you simply work with Jamie and he will help with new baffs and fuel map for your existing equipment.....Who could ask for more?

Describing a sound is difficult, but it is different from the Rush slip-ons with conventional 1.75" baffles. Not much different at idle, though quieter, but the new baffle kit doesn't have the raspy bark at roll-on that the standard baffles had, and is noticeably quieter at full throttle. I never quite got used to that sound, but this is better for my taste. There is more sound and exhaust exiting the right muffler than before, proportionately speaking, as you would expect with such a small reversion cone in the left baffle. Jamie described it as being similar to a megaphone, but I would imagine the best description would be that it approaches the sound of a 2-into-1, since it is almost that configuration with the restrictive left baffle.

Just a question to ya'll.

Do you think there will be more heat buildup on the rear crossover since it is retaning more backpressure?

Default 2007 SE Springer Stolen from our house!!!

[sm=boohoo.gif]My husband's 2007 Screamin Eagle Springer was stolen from our garage around Thanksgiving and I would like to inform all of you that know how hard it is to work to earn the right to own a Harley in hopes that maybe the person(s) that were sick enough to steal the bike are caught! We live in Burlington NC and the bike was blue with tribal flames and uniquely identifiable with 16" ape hangers. If anyone sees a bike for sale or parts for an '07 SE Springer, please, please let me know and I will investigate further. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks to all the Harley family!

I'd guess by her post count that she's new to the forum. And looking at the way she titled her post, she was likely attempting to start a new thread but ended up replying by mistake.

well, just snuck it in...no not THAT[&:]. Just ordered the fuel moto set-up. I talked to Jamie and I asked him some questions of what I had seen on here and the other threads reguarding the PCIII and pipes. I feel confident that set-up is what i want. I'll give ya some feed back when they get installed. Will be after Christmas though, probably wont show up until after then anyway.

But first I have to help my son who's home on leave put all his goodies on his mustang GT. If I get caught working on my bike before his carfirst by wifey ....well, that won't be a good way to start out the new year[8D].

So..I patiently wait NOT

Never thought about that, but I see no change in discoloration since installing the baffles, and I'm running leaner than most in the low-end. I wouldn't think there would be much of a build-up of pressure anyway since it is relieved by the right muffler. In my turbocharged car I had to increase the exhaust diameter near the header from 2½" to 3" when I increased boost to decrease exhaust-gas temps. This is a different environment, though, because those exhaust gases have nowhere to go except through one pipe. The HD setup is relieved by the right side, so I would think backpressure would be more or less equalized, and thus not excessive. That's just my non-expert opinion based on no engineering or other physical evidence. Anyway, I would think overall backpressure would be low anyway as long as RPM's are low to moderate, which for me is where they would be 99% of the time.
