OK. I get it. HQ is better than SE.
I bought SE Stage II for warranty purposes. I have SE 255 cams. For my particular application, it suits me just fine. I got a nice seat of the pants gain from the upgrade. I recently added a fatcat and a SERT. I still need a dyno tune on this setup, but I can say that it's performing way better than I thought it would. Can I out run a HQ setup on a drag strip? Probably not. But I do have gobs of lowend torque that will haul my fatass down the highway and pass 18 wheelers all day long.

Hey,it's what ever floats yer boat, but like the TV commercialsays---WOW I couldof had a V8!!!
The real differance in the SEII and HQ is the heads. With the SE set up you're just changing one set of crappy heads for another set of crappy heads. That's why the HQ system will run circles around a SE set up. There's no beating HQ at porting heads.
"If" you were interested... I bet there's a way we could "arrange" the labor part of yourbuild be handled @ another DFW build party.... just a thought.
Sweet did you say another build party. I cant ride for the next three months due to my wrist meeting the ground last week, but I can wrench and hold a drop light if needed.....
You Guys are all making my mouth water and my throttle wrist jealous as hell. 4 and 1/2 more years of child support and I am gonna do a HQ build on my 2000 Ultra. Not sure what kit I'll choose yet but I really like hearing all the 103 build results, I dont need a stump puller but I love hearing the solid power that is obtained and the realiability that they offer. My bottom line is a solid motor that I can enjoy for a really long time. I'm really glad I joined this forum so I can read about all the cool builds and customizing.
