Ok i have a question here that could possibly save some other money but i don't know the answer??

Ok when you use a PCIII you cap off the O2 sensors so can you buy pipes that don't have the O2 bung hole? If so how do you know if a 05 06 pipe rather than an 07 will fit your 07 bike with the only difference being that it has an O2 sensor hole or not.

I also recomend doing it yourself. It is a pretty easy thing to do. Use the cash you save to buy a J&S lift first. Then you will have a great lift to do all of your routine maint and save a lot of cash down the road.

I thought about doing the exact same thing but changed my mind for3 reasons. 1. I may want to return my bike top stock someday. 2. I may still go to a SERT. 3. I may want to buy a Thundermax or similar controller that uses the O2 sensors. For this reason I bought a true duals system that has bungs. I installed plugs in the bungs and removed the O2 sensors for now. I bought a Torred true duals system.

Echoing the "do it yourself" voices. I was never much of a mechanic and the tool selection I own now (after years of room mates cleaning me out) is beyond minimal.

Changing the AC takes maybe 30 minutes (helps to pre-assemble it once looking at the instructions so you're familiar with the bits and things will go quicker at actual boltup). The PCIII pretty much just plugs in and you attach two tie wraps (zeroing the throttle takes about three minutes with a laptop.....something youcould do later if need be and FuelMoto even has a video walking you thru it). The 02 sensors just snap on. Slip-on mufflers...well, you're just slipping off the old and slipping on the new (two bolds that hangit up and one clamp that holds it on)

Two hours total install for someone with a few basic tools, a towel to sit on, and some light to read the instructions by.

The whole thing sold and installed by a dealer I'd say $1500 out the door.

Order it all delivered from FuelMoto for about $680 and install it yourself.
