I've got 2 stories. My first day on a bike (tried to teach myself how to ride from a book), I went over the handlebars and landed face first. Good think I had a full face.
Spent the next 4 years wearinghalf helmets, my favorite a novelty. Went down last year in a curve (high side). Nose got scratches but helmet had a big gash. Full face might have helped the nose rash but might have hurt my neck. Who knows?
Given a choice (no choice in Michigan), I will buy another novelty.

How about anyone intersted in helmet nonsense just do a search? .... that way we don't have to recycle the same tired crap over and over and over again.
Maybe rehashing it will help someone make an intelligent choice. If it bores you, just click right past the helmet threads.
I support a rider's choice to wear a helmet or not, but I refuse to allow my tax dollars to pay for victims of injuries that could have been prevented or lessened by a helmet. I feel that same about cagers who don't wear seatbelts. It's all about fairness. Why should I have to pay for your decisions?
