First ride on my 08 FLHRC...

First ride on my 08 FLHRC...
I put a deposit on my bike in mid Dec. and they had to order another tank becuase the one that is on it had a blemish. If it wasn't raining so damn much here in Washington I would be upset. Anyone else in here from WA/OR? My garage is bare without something to tinker with. I am enjoying all the forum talk though, and have many ideas as to whatI am going to do whenI finally do get my bike. Keep up the good chat!

I too share your pain all the way over here on the East coast, I put a deposit on an '08 SG that won't be delivered until March. I am working overtime like crazy to help keep me occupied throughout the winter. I never wished my life away this hard ever before. I can not wait till March.

Yes, I did. It's vivid black. I just can't seem to like any other color, everything goes with it.

Pics of my grin from ear to ear, oh and my bike posted soon. Ok, so now I'm still hung up on which way to go for exhaust.I read all day yesterday about so many different oppinions. Duals... No Duals... SERT... No SERT...
Cmon, let me have it. I want the lowdown on what I should do. Just an FYI, I am doing just the exhaust &a/c upgrade no other mods. So is it duals or slip-ons? SERT or PCIII or ???? Fuel Moto or no Fuel Moto? I don't mind the slip-on route but I hate that cross-over pipe look. HELP!

Well, since you asked...
I'd suggest SE intake, RUSH 2.0 inch baffled Slash UP muffers (they follow the lines from the bags and look good) and SERT, along with a dyno tune.
I have this set up and really like it. Pros and cons to everything, but since it's January, they might be in a position to cut some slack on pricing.
