Thank you for the thoughts.
As far as when the bike is back together, who knows. It has been 4 weeks on the 11th and all that has been reported to me was the tank and tourpac were sent to the painter. I am in the process of getting the insurance check cleared through the lean holder, it seems this could take some time. My understanding is the local shop will not order any parts until money is in hand, signed ,sealed and delivered. I was orginally told it would be about a month and a half for completion, I just don't see it happening.
My external hardware is a pain in the ____,____ you fill in the blanks...... I have had many good days but here recently they have been pretty painful so I keep popping the meds and staying in other worlds. The healing is going great and the doc told me he would remove this contraption on the 24th of January. I will then have to wear a brace of some sort and start the rehab. I cannot make a fist at all, it just plain hurts to close my fingers up. I have to push my fingers down and back into my palm a few times daily to stretch the muscles. It has become hard to sleep at night, seems that I might have some nerve damage in there as well. My arm will go numb which wakes me throughout the night no matter what position I am in.
BUT.... ALL IN ALL things are going to be great. Talking with other members here, it has been a real eye opener for many but I am the one who had to suffer a little. I am okay with that. Thinking that at least the accident was or is on their mind and knowing what "could have" happened, they might be a little more cautious when riding. I am ready to get back on the bike and have a ball. Looking forward to having a long relaxing trip up to Wyomig/Montana area around Sturgis time.

Jason get better dude! I wish you a speedy recovery.
BTW considering the fatcat in lieu of my Rush slip on's. Do you think I will feel a difference?

Yes, you will feel the difference on the fatcat. I did not think that it was all it was cracked up to be but the bike feels much stronger in any gear when cruising. As you know I wasn't that excited about the HQ cams but the fatcat did make it feel better, I just never made it to the dyno to see. I think the main difference is that the torque feels like it is flat across the board and never falls off as compared to the true duals and VH slip ons I previously had.
