Sorry to start a new post for an old question but I'm still searching for an answer.
The dealer recently added SE slipons, SE air kit and a Stage II download to my SG. They also changed the front motor mount to the new version. I love the performance enhancement when I open the throttle but there is one side effect that is uncomfortable. There is now a lot of shake and vibration in my seat at idle. It shakes my entire upper body including my head to the extent that if I look at the guages they are out of focus.
I don't want to sound like a wimp. I'm just trying to find out if this is normal after making changes or if there is a problem or a remedy.
Will a fuel optimizer smooth out this shake at idle? Do you think the dealer screwed something up at installation?
I realize most riders have made similar changes to their scoots and some may have had similar results that's the beauty of this forum! There's a lot of experience out there!
Usually the HD Download is crap. That may be your problem. I would personally go with some type of programmer SERT/PCIII etc. and have it dyno tuned to get the BEST performance.
