I am fixing to make a run from the west coast to the east coast. Is there a book or data base that list Harley dealers throughout the USA?

Check your dealer. I believe Rand-McNally published a US atlas with HD that shows routes and dealers.
If you are a Nat'l HOG member there are maps with dealer locations as part of your annual membership packet.

You can go to the Harley Davidson Dealer Loacator and type in the name of a city you'll be passing through. It will give you the location of all the Harley shops in the area.

There is a POI database for all Harley dealerships out on the internet somewhere. The download also includes all of the data in an Excel file. Just run a google search. If you can't find it, send me a pm and I'll see if I can dig it up.
