I got 1 for x-mas,,, took it our of the box,,, havnt messd with it on the bike yet,,
but , looks like its made well, but " It just clips on..?" Seems cheesy!!
Any of you guys do any mods, tricks that might help?
Or does this attachment work?
I bought it - put it on and haven't looked back - works great. I felt the same way about the clip ons - but the work fine and I have had 3 different windshields on the bike..go for it............
Very solid after you mount it, I also have changed windshields, no problems, I got a lot of stuff crammed in them little bags, they are indespensible to me...
Any of you guys ever have the pouches with the metal/plastic plate that slips between the fairing and the windshield? Like Hopnel or River Road? How did they work/any thoughts?
Mounts fine and solid. tough little bugger too, it survived the drop (see avatar). I did mod mine to make the outside small pouches removable using heavy duty snaps.
HOLY CRAP Gonzo!!!!!!!!! WTF? hope it panned out in your favor
line the bottom of pouch with a sticky backed felt, comes in black and sell it at the HOME DEEP THROAT. Especially if you paint the inner fairing, the vibration will scour through the paint and leave a dusty residue. sounds pretty **** but when the money starts sinking into the bike, looks along with longevitybecome a priority. my 2 pennies
