Helllllo Newbie, have the 07 SG with Rinehart TD, SE air filter no fuel management just the download...got enough power, and runs cooler than stock. I'm a happy camper.

I just picked up a new 08 Ultra and swapped over my V/H ovals and was told that I needed to either get a SERT or a Fuel Pack because they no longer had the Stage 1 download for the 08's anymore. I opted for the Fuel Pack. It's a lot less money and easy to install & tune yourself.

With 2k dont worry about chrome goodies. If you go with the header true duals ,hi flow andSERT you will just about spend the 2k right there.

Have an 06 Electra Glide, Vance and Hines True Duals w/Oval slip on's, stage 2 upload, SE a/c, PCIII. Bike runs great, but you'll need to let yours breath a little more. I think the best bang for the buck would be slip on's, a good air cleaner, and some kind of fuel mngmnt system. Congrats on the new ride! It took me a while to get used to my Harley after years of riding BMW"s, so you might have to make some adjustments before you get used to it, but you'll love when you do!

Congrats on the new ride! I would go with the pipes, dual headers, and intake. I did the pipes first and when I finally put on the dual headers it really changed the sound. I did try the2 into 1, as you can see in my sig picture, but I have gone back to the duals because I missed the sound and, after tuning, didn't really notice a big power increase with the 2 into 1. There will be plenty of people who will tell you you get more power from a 2 into 1, but I'm not making a living on the track with this bike and the few ponies I may lose is worth it to me. As I run a carb I don't know much about riding with FI, but I have friends running the SERT that have custom tuned their's and they couldn't be happier once they found the sweet spot for their setup.

The download is a bandage my bike had the download for the first 1000 miles till it was broken in.
There isno comparison between the two after the SERT was installed and dynoed it flat hauls *** compared to the download.15 more HP and 13 morelbs of torque just from the SERT!!

OOps
What do you think is in the SERT?.....It has every performance download that the dealer has through it's Digital Technician.
