I installed the Vance& Hines 2 into 1 Pro Pipe BP on my ulta last night. the exhaust looks good. ( From the right side anyhow). The pipes sound good but maybe a little loud for my taste. I have not ridden the bike and I'm anxious to see what it runs like.
The installation directions are poor. V&H could have taken a little more time adding some detail and better pictures. Instead they thought it more important to include an add for their FuelPak system.
It's like seven bolts, how complicated can it be? I love the ProPipe, had it on my built 01 RG for 4 years but they are a little loud much more so when you have a built motor. I switched to the Supertrapp 2:1 for the build on my 08 RG, very quiet for a performance pipe.

I never said that it was complicated. It's not. The direction of the heat shield clamps is an issue. The pictures are so small. Just stating that more detail would have made the job easier. The header pipe is not real easy to get into place and having to do it twice could have been avoided.
I think your are going to like that Pro Pipe, I have one on my 03 Ultra and it runs very good. It is a little noise but make sure the baffle stays wrapped or even add one wrap of installation around it (to make it quieter) and it will be ok. I just bought an 08 Ultra and decided to go with the DD Fat Cats with the quiet baffle only becasue I like change and everybody reports out that it is a good pipe. I have not installed the DD's on my 08 yet and every time I ride my 03 Ultra I wonder if i might have made a mistake buying the DD's, we'll see. You made a good choice, enjoy it.
By the way, your end cap on your propipe has two screws they have been known to come loose and lose your baffle ($78.00-replacement) so keep an eye on them or better yet drill and tap in a third screw for security. Good luck, BRO

A little late now but V&H has the instal instructions on their website in pdf form. You could have zoomed in on the pics to make them easier to read.

Do you have any pictures of the "Dark Side" (The side without the pipe?) I'm looking at this pipe for a 2014 Ultra LTD, but I'm worried the bike will look naked on the right side.

only my opinion....I feel that the right side will look naked..love the dual exhaust..just looks better with the bags...that is my opinion....
I have a 2 into 1, not VH, but freedom performance..... It looks a bit nude on the left side, but I came from a lower model, ugly pulleys are something Ive grown used to.... The only real thing that bothers me is the boxy mounting lug hanging off the saddlebag support that used to hold a muffler..... It's hidden pretty good under the bag, but I still know it's there..... Grrrrr, damn you mounting lug, now I'm thinking about it again!
The ultimate setup would be the Pro Pipe with a ghost pipe on the left side. Pricey I'm sure but the look of dual exhaust with the sound and performance of the 2:1.
