Maguires wax, one is a cleaner wax and one is a canubba wax. Your bikes black use the cleaner wax first if you want a nice mirror finish.
I use this but it actually is a 3 step system. 1 and 3 is mentioned but 2 is the most important, polish. Gives you that deep wet look! I actually skip the cleaner (1) and use polish and wax, (2) and (3) and it works great. Removes swirl marks too!!
Here is a couple older pics right after I waxed it for winter. Since then many changes have been made!
Go to any WalMart or Target and you can buy Zymol right off the shelf.I've tried McQuire's This and Turtle's That and NuFinish, but none match up. This company has been making top-quality wax products since the horse-and-buggy era. They've figured it out - easy application with no scratching, no residue, and lasting finish. Spray a mist of distilled water over it after it's finished and buff that off. The shine depth will dazzle you!
I like NuFinish for black paint, it dosen't leave any swirl marks. All the wax's listed above are good,I think if you go with any of them you will be ok. A lot of it is personal preference.....
I like the NXT, but have found that you really have to shake it up good before using it. I've got about 8-10 coats on my fairing now and its looking pretty good. I have always heard that Zymoil is the best though and I'll probably get some of that when the NXT runs out.
2)Meguires Deep Crystal System - Its three different bottles a) Step 1: Deep Crystal Cleaner; b) Step 2: Deep Crystal Polish; and c) Step 3: Caranauba Wax - Its pure Caranauba Wax
I highly recommend the Deep Crystal System. It takes a while to apply, but I have used it for many years now and it has yet to let me down.
