Default Trans Conversion

I own a stock 1986 FLH and am in the process of motor work, paint, etc. I considered upgrading the transmission from 5 to 6 speed, but can't find any information for either a new tranny or kit to adapt to this model/year. Any comments or suggestions?

I have an '86 also and at one time thought about upgrading to a six speed BUT the problem is the tapered shaft. I'm not sure if they (anyone) makes one for a tapered shaft. I don't even know if you could just install a tp. shaft in a 6 speed because the diameter of the shaft was increased at one point. If you figure anything out keep us posted. Since it's now my 2nd bike, I'm more than likely going to put on a 34 tooth trans pully on and call it good.
